We Build for People
"The mission of the organization is honesty, excellent service, strong administration and most importantly, client satisfaction"
JM Badenhorst Enterprise was established in 1972.
The focus of the organization was primarily on electrical reticulation and electrical connection to large factories.
Soon after, the principal of the organization, James Badenhorst diversified the operations into building construction and turn-key project.
One of the main projects which distinguished the company from its competitors was the Overberg Missile Testing Range.
The project involved connection of electrical networks as well as upgrade of the existing buildings.
By 1993 the company was running parallel operations, namely electrical reticulations and building construction.
The ability to unify services such as building, construction, project management and electrical engineering set the company above competitors and awarded J M Badenhorst bids to large projects in the area.
Professionalism, commitment to timeous delivery and above average capacity, established the company as one of the three largest organizations specializing in construction and electrical engineering within the Western and Southern Cape.
In 2004, J M Badenhorst was recognized by the ESI as the best electrical company in South Africa. At the time of going on the market, J M Badenhorst was netting R80 million in turnover.
Sold in 2007 to RACEC Electrical, J M Badenhorst retained the building and construction section, which is currently managed by James Badenhorst Jnr. Subsequent to the sale of electrical component to RACEC, the company focused entirely on developing and making its mark in the construction sector.
Currently the company is in negotiations with SPAR in terms of two large shopping complexes as well as a number of other multi million rand housing projects.
Each project requires significant capital outlay as well as ability to manage cash transactions.
We are an accredited member of both the Master Builder Association Boland and the NHBRC.
The mission of the organization is honesty, excellent service, strong administration and most importantly, client satisfaction.
